The PC version later revamped most of the late-game content, completely changing the 2nd hour of the game and tweaking things for the early part of the game. Focusing on atmosphere, the game features 1 to 2 hours of playtime for single walkthrough, with three possible endings. No One Lives Under The Lighthouse sports that retro aesthetic in its graphics, making the isolation on the island that much more palpable. A member of the Establishment told you they’ll get you an assistant after a week or two, but for the moment you’re on your own… or at least you think you are. After the previous keeper went missing, you need to take over his duties and watch after the light. In something that’s as close to Robert Eggers‘ The Lighthouse in video game form as you’ll get (for now), the story goes that you arrive at the old lighthouse on a small island near the coast of the United States.

In case you missed our preview a few months back, Turbo Overkill draws inspiration from classic 90s shooters like Quake, Duke Nukem and Doom. The over-the-top shooter is still aiming for a release later this year on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. With Steam Next Fest kicking off today with a bunch of free demos for upcoming titles, Apogee and Trigger Happy Interactive are joining in with their upcoming Cyberpunk FPS, Turbo Overkill.
